Rose E. Schmidt, 73, of Shepherdsville, KY passed away Wednesday December 10, 2008 at Jewish Hospital. She was the former Rose Combest a dietician for Norton Health Care and attended Eastside Baptist Church. Her son, Eddie Schmidt; Brother's, Jim and Frank Combest; sister's, Helen Alfaro and Bessie Larmour precede her in death. She is survived by her children, Charlotte Woloch(Chuck) and James Simmons(Danna); sister, Mary Ruth Owens; brother's, Jerry and George Combest; three grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1pm Sunday at Hardy-Close Funeral Home with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitations will be 4-8pm Friday, 10-8 Saturday and after 9am Sunday.
