Roy Elmer Goldsmith

Goldsmith, Roy Elmer age 83 of Shepherdsville entered eternal life January 28, 2016 at Audubon Hospital. He retired from General Electric and was a farmer for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Edith Stearman-Goldsmith; and sons, Ben Richards; and Jerry Goldsmith. Mr. Goldsmith leaves to cherish his memory, wife Rosie Simmons Goldsmith; children, Treasia Robertson (David); Becky Goldsmith-Johnson; Roy Elmer Goldsmith Jr. (Hattie) and Tom Goldsmith (Bonnie); Tommi Lund; Betty McGavic; Mary Richards; Robert Richards; Donnie Richards; 23 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be at 11 am Friday February 5, 2016 at Hardy-Close Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Eden Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday February 4, 2016 from 2 -8pm and after 9am Friday until time of Service.
