Ray, Roy Newman age 73, of Shepherdsville returned to his Heavenly Father on February 10, 2017 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center. He was an Owner/Operator Truck Driver. He leaves to cherish his memory, wife of 54 years, Zella Mae Jewell-Ray; son, Tony Ray; daughter, Lorrie Young (Mike Frye); and 6 grandchildren. Funeral Service will be conducted at 6 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2017 in the Chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home (285 S. Buckman St.) with cremation to follow service.
