Sally A. Jackson

Jackson, Sally A., age 80, of Taylorsville, returned to her Heavenly Father February 19, 2017 at her residence. She was retired from Stone Container Corporation, and member of Grandparents Raising Grandchildren. Among those who preceded her in death include her daughter, Sharon Hardison; son, Darrell Wayne Jackson; parents, Clarence and Thelma Ratliffe. She leaves to cherish her memory, husband of 61 years, Darrell Jackson; children, Theresa Allen (Sammy), Debra Newman (Marvin), Vickie Swafford (Tommy Suddon), Teddy Jackson, Tammy Young, Paulett Throne; sister, Rose Mary Miller (Gerald "Jockey"); 26 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be conducted Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home (285 S. Buckman St) with cremation to follow service.
