Shirley D. Leger

  She was a Baptist by faith and a member of Lone Hill Baptist Church in Louisville. Shirley was very artistic. She loved being creative in all aspects such as painting, floral arrangements and decorating her home. 

  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Leger, a son Michael Hudson, and sisters Carolyn Bell and Joanne Wethington.

  She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Tammy Vineyard (Tim); daughter in law, Tina Hudson; grandchildren, Nicole Barley, Jessica Vineyard, Amanda Enyard, and Tyler Hudson; great-grandchildren, Trenton, Alyssa, Cameron and Shyann; 2 great-great-grandchildren along with a host of family and friends.

  Funeral services will be conducted at 6 pm on Friday, October 10, 2025, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville with cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday from 12 noon until the time of service at 6 pm.  

  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the funeral home.
