Terry McClain

  Terry McClain age 69, of Okolona, entered into Eternal Life on Monday, May 22, 2023. He was born April 17, 1954, in Spencer County to Howard “Mac” and Anna McClain. He was the owner of Terry’s Transmission. He enjoyed his cars and motorcycles. He loved meeting people and never met a stranger. He was a very opinionated man that loved long discussions about anything. He loved his children and would do anything for them. He will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

   He is preceded in death by his father Howard “Mac” McClain.

  He leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife, Carol Miller McClain; a son Dougie McClain (Carolyn); stepdaughters, Brandie Miller, and Stephanie Givens (Skeet); mother, Anna McClain; grandchildren, Ariel, Zachary, Cameron, Anthony, Jana, Morgan, and Katie; great-grandchildren, Bentley, and Cara; his sisters, Kitty Jordan (Gary), and Lisa Durr, along with a host of family and friends.

  Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 6:30 pm in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street, Shepherdsville, with cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, from 12 pm until the time of service at 6:30 pm at Hardy-Close Funeral Home.
