Trent Daniel Carey

   Trent Daniel Carey, age 21 of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 25, 2021. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Malcolm Payton. He accepted Christ on April 11, 2021. He was a former student at Bullitt Central High School and a member of IOP Family Dynamics. He enjoyed fishing, basketball and was an avid Louisville Cardinal fan.

   He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Pam Carey and his father, Darrell Waldridge (Beth Ann); his brother, Corey Waldridge; his sisters Niki Milburn (Jeremy Snow), Michelle Carey (Jeremy Van Meter) Carissa Carey and Alexis Goodlett; his grandparents, Marilyn Payton and Roger and Rose Waldridge; his girlfriend, Morgan Boylen; his stepson, Austin Boylen and baby boy on the way Trent Carey Jr.; along with several nieces and nephews.

   Funeral service will be conducted 7 pm on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville. Friends may pay their respects Tuesday from 3 pm until time of service. Burial will be 10 am Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Valley Cemetery 2357 Mount Washington Road Taylorsville, KY.
