Simmons Jr., Walter "Buzz" 66 of Shepherdsville entered eternal life December 22, 2014 at Golden Living Center of Hill Creek. He was a retired Supervisor for John Myer Utility Construction and a member of Mother Seaton Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his daughter Tonya Donaldson; and parents Walter C. Simmons Sr. and Mildred Hodge-Simmons. Mr. Simmons leaves to cherish his memory wife, Pam Mattingly-Simmons; children, Leland and Eddie Simmons, and Gina Swink; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held 11am Wednesday at Hardy-Close Funeral Home with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 - 8pm Tuesday and after 9am Wednesday until time of service.
