Allen "Dale" Stinson Jr.

Mr. Allen Dale Stinson Jr., age 53, of Mt. Washington, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father Sunday, June 22, 2025. Dale was born on April 6, 1972, in Louisville, Kentucky. Dale loved gardening and working on cars. He enjoyed hunting and drinking cold beer with his best friend, Nathan. Dale was a loving husband, father, son and brother to his family. He will be truly missed by everyone that knew him.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Viola Stinson, along with Charles and Lillie Lang. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Debbie Stinson; children, Brandon Stinson (Emily), Cheyenne Sharpe and Carl Stinson; step-children, Jessica Hope (Jimmy), Alexander Hope, Thomas Hope, Katelynn Hope (Emily) and Jacob Hope; grandchild, Jimmy Michael Allen Wilson IV; parents, Allen Dale Stinson Sr. and Hilda “McIntosh” Stinson; sister, Shelly Anderson (James); nephew, Dalton Weakly; best friend thought of as a brother, Nathan Wright; uncle, David Lawrence Stinson (Martha); aunt, Bridget Robinson; father-in-law, Donald Simpson; and his K9 companion, Tank; and a host of family and friends. 

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, July 1st, 2025, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, Mt. Washington (Hwy. 44 east at 123 Winning Colors Dr.) with burial to follow at Williams Cemetery in Leitchfield, Kentucky. Family and Friends may pay their respects on Monday, June 30, 2025, from 1:00pm until 8:00pm and on Tuesday, July 1st, 2025, from 9:00am until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made the American Cancer Society in honor of Dale.
