Alma Jean Conover

Mrs. Alma Jean (Decker) Conover, age 60 of Hillview, KY returned to her Heavenly Father on February 8, 2019. She was born on February 13, 1958 in Louisville, KY to Willard Decker and the late Wilma (Jaggers) Decker. She was a giving person who made sure everyone else came first. She was a great caregiver to her husband when he was ill. When she became ill, she still wanted to take care of everyone else. She did not know how to be the patient, and it showed.

She is preceded in death by her mother; brothers, Ray Decker and Clark Shadburn.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 40 years, Billy Lee Conover; son, Jacob Lee Conover (Tara); grandchildren, Olivia Miller, Shelby Hardin and Rodney Hardin; father, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Decker; sister, Beth Radcliff (Michael), brothers, Sherrell Decker, Steve Decker (Barbara), Wayne Decker and Bobby Decker (Lisa); Aunt Delona Greenwell (Mike), Aunt Janet Waldridge (Mike); and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, February 15, 2019 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Friends may pay their respect on Friday from 11:00 am till 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
