Anita Burden peacefully went home to be with the lord where she was reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Mark. Though her passing leaves a deep sadness in the hearts of those that loved her, we find comfort knowing she is once again by his side.
With heavy hearts and deep sadness, we announce the passing of Anita Marie Burden. Though our hearts are broken by her loss, we find comfort in the memories, love and special moments she leaves behind.
Anita will forever be remembered and cherished by her loving family. Her memory will live on through the lives of those who loved her and the generations who will continue to carry her legacy.
She is preceded in death by her father John Maloney; her mother, Mary Dale Maloney; brothers, Johnny Maloney and Billy Maloney, and sister Mary Wagner.
She leaves behind her loving son Kevin Burden; daughter, Tracy Burden (Steve); and 2 brothers, Tommy (Fran) and Steve (Jeneda).
She was proud grandmother to Hailey, Steven, Alivia, and Gavin and a loving great-grandmother to Canon, Mason, Amari, and Sophia.
Although she may no longer be with us physically, her love will remain in the hearts of her loved ones forever. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten. Forever loved, forever missed, and forever in our hearts.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 13, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Hardy Close Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mount Eden Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 13, 2026, beginning at 10:00 am until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
