Happy Fathers Day Honey,  we wish you were here to play with your grandson River you would love him  and I know he would love his grandpa.

Did not want to forget my husband on Veterans Day, I wish you could be here to meet your grandson River, I know you would just love him and be proud of our son Patrick we will never forget you and you will always be in our hearts.

Well here it is almost Christmas, I really do miss you honey.  It is so unfair that your life was cut short because of the time you served in Vietnam, I know your son Patrick wishes you were here to go  fishing with him and so you can get to know your grandson River.  I love you .  Merry Christmas.

Well here it is Thanksgiving and Christmas is just around the corner, we wish you were here to celebrate the newest member of our family your grandson River Lee Wade.  You would fall in love with him and you would be so proud of the man and father Patrick has become.  You will always be in our hearts and we miss you.  Your loving wife Vicki

Happy Birthday  Douglas, want you to know that your friend June Fields has not forgotten you.  Wish you were here to go fishing with your son.  Will always remember the good times we had  especially doing Civil War Reenactments and going on trips on the motorcycle.

Happy Veterans  Day honey.  I really miss you and today in Church tears were brought to my eyes because on this day a special prayer was  said to all veterans past and present and to those who are no longer with us.  You are always in my heart and and with the holidays coming I will be missing you more and wishing you could be here with us.  I love you Douglas.

Today is Vietnam Veterans Day and you should be honored for serving your country, you are not forgotten Douglas.

Thinking of you Doug. You would be very upset with how worse the government has become. You were a true patriot. There are to many Americans that are sheeple and you were not one of them. Rest in peace.

Veterans Day will soon be here and I will be thinking of you on this day.  Thank you Lee for never forgetting your friend, Douglas thought a lot of you and when you stopped by to visit he always enjoyed your company.  I love you honey.

It is Memorial Day and I'm thinking of you. I miss you and My son very much. I wish you both were here with us all. Me and Vicki have become close and I'm glad of that. You will never be forgotten.

With Memorial Day approaching I am missing you very much.  While cleaning out the pond Patrick said that you had built this pond for me and you did it out of love for me.  I wish you were here to spend the days fishing with you son going on our visits to Perryville for walks.  I wish you were here to share the evenings with me. I will always love you .

You are truly missed by a lot of people.  I think about you every day and remember the many memories that we have.  The day we were married , the trips on the motorcycle and the loving son that God gave us.  RIP  honey.

Thinking of Doug today. He was a great and loyal friend a patriot. I remember him when I was around 12. We kind of grew up together. He had lots of friends. We used to go to Parkside and have their roast beef plates and cream sodas in the late 50s and early 60s. We liked target practicing and going out on motorcycle. Used to go to his parents house to visit him and drink a few. Stayed in contact when he was drafted and went to Vietnam. I joined the Marines after he went in. We got together again after we were both out and went to JCC together. He ended up making a career at GE. We liked to talk about or Confederate heritage and how our rights were being lost. We lost contact for a while after I got married and went to DC. When we got back we reconnected for a while and kinda lost contact until the last couple of years of his life. Wish now I would not have lost those years in between. He was a great guy and loved his family. He was a proud member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans and the American Legion. I miss him. RIP Doug and God bless you and your family.

We are so very sorry for your loss of Doug, He will be missed and we will miss talking to him reminising about Vietnam days.Vicki and Patric you are in our prayers and thoughts. Over time we pray your sorrow will lighten and the joy of your memories will be upper most in your thoughts.

I first met Doug in 1969 at General Electric.  In 1971 I bought a Triumph Motorcycle and We had several fine rides . He had a 1967 that he kept in perfect shape. Probably  the best ride we had was the Blue Ridge Parkway. Later I got married and he also, and we kind of lost tract of each other outside of seeing each other at work. I,ve heard it said that a person can go through life with lots of acquaintances but with very few friends.  As I look back on life Doug Wade was the first true friend I had.  I,ll always admire him as a person who had the backbone to stand up for his convictions.  I express to Vickie and Patrick my sympathy . I will miss my friend, He belongs to the greatest generation, Ralph White.

We will always remember Doug sitting on the porch, with his wife(Vickie) and son,(Patrick) he always had time to say Hi or ask you how things were going in our   lives.He always gave us a little wave of the hand when we rode down the street in the our Truck. Doug was our neighbor and a Friend , he will be sadly missed, he was a true patriot .Our hearts go out to his family for their lost. we are so sorry that their feeling so much pain now.( Remember  when you think you can't  go on( God )will carry you. ) lean on him (Vickie and Patrick.) - family and friends.

We are so sorry for the loss of Doug or as I always called him Arthur.  He was a good soul and the world is a sadder place for his loss.  I will always remember him fondly bouncing around on Prissy and grinning!

Vicki & Patrick I'm so terribly sorry that Doug has passed on.  I really enjoyed talking to him about motorcycles & country living. It was always a comfort to know that he was there looking out for my mom & dad, ya'll would be sitting either on the front porch or out back watching out for them.
