Ashley Tara Kidd

Ashley Tara Kidd, age 39, of Louisville, KY returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on September 18, 1985, to Evelyn Kidd and the late Alan Kidd. Ashley was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt/ mom to Jaydan.  Her family was the center of her universe. She was a pharmacy technician for Kroger. She radiated happiness, kindness, and compassion, touching the lives of everyone around her. Whether it was lending a helping hand, offering a listening ear, or simply showing up when it mattered most, Ashley never hesitated to put others first. She was a true lover of music and found joy in the simple things in life. She was a part of the Bronco club and enjoyed rides in her Bronco. She was a free spirit who found joy in road trips, barbecuing, and food trucks. Ashley had an edgy side and loved her tattoos and all things Halloween. She brought light, laughter, and warmth to every moment. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. Ashley was preceded in death by her dad, Alan Kidd; grandparents, Joe and Pat Linde, Carmel and Irene Kidd, and her pet, Chevy. 

She is survived by her mom, Evelyn Kidd; sister, Chrisa Frye (Jesse); brother, David Kidd (Ali); sister, Emily Morris (Adam); nephew/ son, Jaydan Claridy; nephew, Christian “Stink” Morris; along with many other family and friends.

Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 10:00 am in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road). The visitation will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025, from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A visitation will also be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Brookland Cemetery.  www.subfuneralhome.com
