

Barbara Ann Clark, born on April 3, 1963, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Paul and Stella Bray, passed away on July 10, 2026, leaving behind a life marked by love, faith, and devotion to her family and community.
Barbara was a Christian whose faith was an important part of her life. She found comfort and strength in her beliefs. She enjoyed spending time at Field of Grace Church and valued the fellowship and encouragement she found there. Barbara also had a lively spirit and appreciated the simple pleasures that made life meaningful to her. She enjoyed bingo, concerts, the excitement of car races, and her deep love for a cup of coffee.
Barbara is survived by her son, William Browning and his wife, Mary, as well as her beloved grandchildren, Caitlyn and Meghan. She is also survived by her brothers, Danny Bray and his wife, Donna, and David Bray and his wife, Deanna. Her sister in-law Jeanene Bray. As well as a host of nieces and nephews. Her family was a source of great pride and happiness in her life, and she cherished the bonds she shared with them.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Clark; her daughter, Kayla Browning; her parents, Paul and Stella Bray; her grandparents, Bessie and Leon Arnold and Maddie and Leo Bray; and her brothers, Donnie Bray and Joe Bray. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life, and she carried their love with her always.
A visitation will be held at Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 S. Buckman Street Shepherdsville, Kentucky 40165 on Friday, July 17, 2026 from 11am to 4pm. A funeral service will directly follow at 4pm.
