Barbara Carol Mulrooney

Barbara Carol Mulrooney, age 77, of South Louisville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 17, 2021.  Barbara was born in Louisville, Kentucky on February 28, 1944, to the late James E. and Hellice Yeager Hurst. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Joyce Woods, Shirley Bond, Marie Louallen, Gustie Dennie; brother, Roland Hurst.     Barbara leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 57 years of marriage, James Mulrooney; daughter, Tracy Olson (Darrell); son, Steven B. Mulrooney (Kimberly); brothers, Dennie Hurst, Jimmy Hurst (Michele); sister, Marian Metcalfe (Joe); three grandchildren, Hannah Mulrooney, Allie Sebastian and Jena Jordan (Ben); and a host of friends. Funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends and Family may pay their respects on Tuesday from 3 pm until 8 pm on Wednesday from 10 am until time of service at the funeral home.
