Barbara L. Stiles

Ms. Barbara L. Stiles, age 78, of Louisville, Kentucky went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, September 18, 2022. She was born on February 29, 1944, to the late Joseph Silliman, Sr, and Klementine (Carson) Silliman in Louisville, Kentucky. Barbara was Catholic by Faith, a homemaker, she enjoyed gardening, sewing, she won several blue ribbons over the years at the State Fair for her quilting, she belonged to the Leitchfield 4-H clubs, and she truly loved her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her granddaughter, Chelsea Saltsman, and grandson, Gabriel Stiles.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Sherrie Howell (James), her sons, Vincent Stiles, Robert Stiles, Jr, John Stiles, Joseph Stiles (Dana), Patrick Stiles (Carla), Brother, Joseph Silliman Jr, (Chris), grandchildren, Chasity Lucas (Justin), Alex Howell (Caitlyn), Natalie Stiles, Nicholas Stiles, Cortney Johnson (Randy), Skyla Fredericks, Zachary Stiles (Victoria), Brandon Stiles, Aaron Stiles, Joshua Stiles, Jacob Stiles, and Trinity Snider, Shane Williams, and 11 great grandchildren, and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held Friday, September 23, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday September 22, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Friday September 23, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
