Bernard Lee App

Mr. Bernard Lee App, age 75, of Bonnieville, Ky, returned to his Heavenly Father on September 17, 2019. Mr. App was born on March 2, 1944 in Louisville, KY to the late Louis and Catherine (App) Westbay. Among those who preceded him in death are his parents; brothers, Louis E. Westbay and Archie Westbay; sisters, Judy Westbay and Irene Johnson; granddaughter, Alyscia App. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Marcella App, Bernard App, Christopher App (Victoria), and Elizabeth Smith; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brothers, Edward and William Westbay; Numerous nieces and Nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, September 20, 2019 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 2 pm to 8pm and on Friday from 10am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
