Betsy Louise Jones

Betsy Louise Jones, age 90, of Mt. Washington, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, April 8, 2024. She was born on December 9, 1933, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Roscoe and Virginia Huffman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Jones; sons, James Mulloy III and Alan Jones; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Vickie Swenson (Peter), Cathy Boyd (Tom), Sherry Keen, Scott Jones (Tammy) and Karen Jones (Clif); 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; siblings, Ronald Huffman (Carol), Martha Longworth (Lonnie) and Pamela Nuzum (Jim); and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 2 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.). Graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 3:00 at Resthaven Memorial Park. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 10 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
