Billy was a member of Shepherdsville Christian Church and proudly retired from the Bullitt County Road Department after 20 years of service to his community.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Hazel Troutman, and his beloved wife, Rebecca Troutman.
Billy is survived by his daughter, Tammy (Jerry) Cantrell; granddaughter, Samantha Cantrell; his beloved granddog, Lizzie; and his bonus family, Mike (Nicole) Evans, Sophia Evans, Hunter Williams, Hadley Evans, and Brantley Evans.
Billy will be remembered for his deep love of family, his generous heart, and the care he showed to the people and animals he loved. He found happiness in the simple pleasures of life, especially spending time in his yard and garden and looking after his friends and family. He also loved riding Lizzie around the neighborhood on his golf cart, creating cherished memories along the way.
Billy leaves behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to the Heart & Lung Association, or planting a flower in your own yard in Billy’s memory.
