Bobbie Edgar Gibson

Mr. Bobbie Edgar Gibson, age 89, of Louisville returned to his Heavenly Father on October 25, 2018. Mr. Gibson was born on December 28, 1928 to the late Joseph and Myrtis Winn Gibson. Mr. Gibson retired from L&N Railroad and was a member of Cooper Memorial Methodist Church. Among those that preceded him in death are his parents; wife, Dorothy Grant Gibson; brothers, David and Floyd Gibson; and sisters, Wanda England and Helen Blackburn. He leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Marilyn Smith (Raymond); brother, James Mitchell Gibson; nephews, Scott Gibson, John England, Tony England, Terry Hadley and Doug Hadley; nieces, Renee Hoskins, Gail Blackburn, Deborah Starkey and Teresa Bruce; and sister-in-law, Jane Gibson.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10 am on Monday, October 29, 2018 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Brookland Cemetery.
