Brian Christian Barahona

Mr. Brian Christian Barahona, age 29, of Okolona, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on October 15, 2018. Brian was born in Louisville, Kentucky on January 16, 1989 to Magnolia Pantoja and Cesar Barahona.  Brian was a self-employed construction worker. He was an avid U of L fan and loved basketball. Brian also loved to drive listening to his music. He loved fishing and animals especially dogs.  He loved his family and they loved him dearly. Brian will be greatly missed.

Among those preceding him in death are his maternal grandfathers, Juvenal Manrique and Ramon Palomino; paternal grandparents, Yolanda Barahona, Gerardo Barahona and Richard Root.  

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Jordyn and Jacob Barahona; mother, Magnolia Pantoja (George); father, Cesar Barahona (Amanda); siblings, Brandon, Jean-Pierre, and Holly Pantoja, and Joshua and Gabriela Barahona; grandmother, Elizabeth Del Castillo; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Evangel World Center, 5400 Minors Ln. Louisville, Kentucky with burial to follow in Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.).
