Brian Lee Downey

Mr. Brian Lee Downey, age 38, of Hillview returned to his Heavenly Father on January 28, 2022. Mr. Downey was born on June 12, 1983, in Louisville, KY to Robin (Phillips) Downey and Rodney Downey. He worked at Bullitt Bedliners and was a member of Okolona Christian Church. Among those that preceded him in death are his grandmothers, Odelia Lewis and Minnie Downey.

He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Robin (Phillips) Downey and Rodney Downey; children, Brydyn, Trenton and Chase; siblings, Tiffany Vincent (Greg) and Shawn Downey; fiancée, Liza White; nieces and nephews, Brittany, Miranda, Katie, Braelynn, Shawn, Jr. and Haisley; and 8 grand nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10 am on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday from 1-8 pm and Tuesday from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.
