Carl Middleton

Reverend Carl Middleton, age 92, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, December 4, 2023.   Mr. Middleton was born on September 11, 1931 to the late Clarence Woodson Middleton and Tiny Williams Middleton.

Besides his parents, he is also preceded in death by son-in-laws, Stephan Guntermann and  David Blanford; daughter-in-law, Darlene Middleton; brothers, Estel, Jess Hayden, Ernie, Dennis, Ray, and Jewell; sisters, Dorothy and Ruth.

He was an Evangelist Minister and had retired from General Electric Appliance Park.

He leaves to cherish his memory, daughter, Barbara Blanford, sons, Jerry Middleton and Steve Middleton (Charlotte); six grandchildren, Rodney McCubbins (Wendy), Stephanie Thomas, Pam Poppelwell (Robbie), Tony Middleton (Alyssa), Ashley Elliott (James) and Aaron Middleton (Amber); fourteen great grandchildren; brother, Fred Middleton (Becky) and a host of nieces, nephews and other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 11, 2023 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (123 Winning Colors Drive, Mt. Washington, KY) with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Sunday from 2 pm until 8 pm and on Monday from 9 am until time of the service at the funeral home.
