Charles Hardin Allen

Charles Hardin Allen, 70, of Bullitt County, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on October 28, 2018. Mr. Allen was born on September 19, 1948 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late William Charles and Dorothy (Belden) Allen. He was employed by General Electric and retired from there as a supervisor. He was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church in Shepherdsville.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Betty (Hay) Allen; children, Richard Allen, Joseph Craft, Gregory Allen (Patsy), Noah Wesley, Rachel Edwards (Steve), and Julie Fenner (Brian); grandchildren, J.R. Craft, Dylan, Zoey, Elizabeth, Eva, and Addison; great-grandchild, Aiden; sisters, Billie Jean Stopinski (Bill), Linda Bingham (Don), and Carol Duncan (Lee).

Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, November 1, 2018 in chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with entombment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 from 11 am until 8 pm and on Thursday from 10 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
