Charles Buckman

Charles Buckman, age 79, of Louisville returned to his Heavenly Father on November 3, 2021.   Charles was born on October 18, 1942 in Louisville, KY to the late Aloysius and Lorene Hughes Buckman. Charles worked for Hill-Rom and was an Air Force veteran and a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Among those that preceded him in death are  his  parents; wife Charlotte; son, Michael Buckman; sister, Faye Shannon and grand-daughter, Chasity Buckman.  

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving children, two daughters, Katherine Shealy (Donald), Kimberly Owen (Wayne); two brothers, David Buckman and Carl Buckman (Ling); three sisters, Carole Buckman, Maye Langdon (Frank) and Nancy Freeman (Jerry); daughter-in-law Amy Buckman; grandchildren, Jessica, Ashley, Kayla, Jennifer, Casey Jane, Erick, Krissy and Autumn; and several great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12pm on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (11501 Maple Way) with interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 11am-8 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road). www.subfuneralhome.com
