Charles Edward Colvin

Mr. Charles Edward Colvin, age 85, of Highgrove, returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, November 16, 2018. Mr. Colvin was born in Marion County, KY on May 20, 1933 to the late Sylvin and Artie Colvin. He served in the United States Navy and retired from Custom Cabinets.

Among those who preceded him in death are, his wife, Agnes Mae Colvin; his daughter, Mary Hall; his son- in- law, Larry Hall and his infant brother, Kenneth Colvin.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his granddaughter, Jessica Masden (John); his great- grandchildren, Blake Masden (Katelyn) and Destinee Masden (Shawn); his siblings, Frank “Louie” Colvin (Phyllis), Donnie Colvin (Marylyn), Ronnie Colvin (Anna Lee), Anthony “Buddy” Colvin (Sue), Michael Colvin, Randy Colvin, Sharon White (Mike) and Beverly “Babs” Smith (Robert); close family friend, Sarah Thomas and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, Mt. Washington (Hwy. 44 east at 123 Winning Colors Dr.) Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 11:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Military honors and a graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, November 26, 2018 at Lebanon National Cemetery (20 Hwy. 208, Lebanon, KY).
