Charles Ray Walls

Mr. Charles Ray Walls, Sr., age 67, of Okolona, returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. Mr. Walls was born in Louisville, KY on September 28, 1950 to the late Vernon and Charlotte Walls. He was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church, a retiree from General Electric, a member of the NRA and Fern Creek Sportsman’s Club.

Among those who preceded him in death include, his son, Charles R. Walls, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 45 years, Frances Walls; his sons, Clayton D. Walls and Joseph A. Walls; grandchildren, Charles R. Walls, III (Trai) and Alex R. Walls; siblings, Clyde Walls (Jackie), Robert Walls, Diane Ward and Barbara Newhouse; brother- in- laws, Armand (Patty), Anthony (Rosemary), Martin (Barbie), and Alex (Lynn) Allgeier; sister- in- laws, Martha Allgeier, Janet Coleman (Pat); many nieces, nephews and a host of other dear family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at St. Luke Catholic Church (4211 Jim Hawkins Dr., Louisville) with burial at St. Michael Cemetery to follow. Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd).
