Charlie Reece

Mr. Reece was raised in Columbia, Kentucky and was a 1970 graduate of Adair County High School. Mr. Reece retired from Ford Motor Company, was a 32nd degree mason, a member of the Fairdale Masonic Lodge #942, a founding member of the Bullitt County Masonic Lodge # 155 and a Kosair Shriner. He attended Little Flock Baptist Church.

Among those who preceded him in death include, his father, Charles "Preston" Reece, Sr. and brother, Timothy L. Reece.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 42 years, Rhonda Reece; children, Chuck Reece and Shannon Tipton (Ray); grandchildren, Tyler, Chase, Sadie and Sophie; mother, Elizabeth Harvey (Noel); stepbrothers, Tony (Beverly) and Terry Harvey (Brenda) and host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Brookland Cemetery.

Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of service at Schoppenhorst.
