Charlotte Marie Kirk

Charlotte Marie Kirk of Louisville, KY received her wings and was taken to Heaven on May 2, 2018. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Charles Martin Rush and Lenora Demling Rush, her dear sister Marty Rush Stanbery.

Charlotte leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 46 years, Leslie Dale Kirk; daughters, Lisa M. Smith (Bill), Kimberly J. Brown, Melissa Kirk Bisson (Larry), Jennifer D. Mills (Brian); grandchildren, Isabella M. Smith, Christopher D. Kirk, Joseph S. Kennedy, Jordan Taylor Brown, R. Walker Brown, Zac Bisson, Bailey McIntosh, Noah Bisson and Zachary Mills. Great granddaughter, Aubrey N. Kirk, nieces, nephews and so many special friends.

Charlotte was a faithful servant of God and the best Wife, Mother and Friend that could ever be. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2013, but you would never have known it by her faithful attitude and God’s blessing of zero pain. She was a member of Resurrection Catholic Parrish and worked to put her children through Catholic schooling.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, May 5, 2018 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial in Brookland Cemetery.   Friends may pay their respects, Friday, May 4, 2018 from 2:00 pm till 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
