Charlotte Ruth Williams

Charlotte Ruth Spencer Williams age 60, of Louisville, KY returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, March 28, 2024.   She was born in Jefferson County, KY on April 11, 1963 to the late William D. Spencer and Marion E. Lawrence. 

She was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Taylor County.

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by two infant sons, Josiah Williams and Aaron Williams and a sister-in-law, Gwendolyn Spencer.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Sarah Bates (Trevor); grandchildren, Laurel Bates, Willow Bates and “one on the way;” sisters, Colleen Drake (Bennie) and Cynthia Drake; brothers, Timothy Spencer (Kathy) and Thomas Spencer and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Thursday, April 4, 2024, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with burial to follow in Brookland Cemetery.  Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 3 pm until 8 pm and on Thursday from 10 am until time of the service at the funeral home.
