

Mrs. Chelsea Marie Saltsman, age 30, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. Chelsea was born on August 6, 1991, in Louisville, Kentucky to James E. Howell, Jr. and Sherrie (Stiles) Howell. Chelsea was an early childhood teacher for the Jefferson County Public School System, she was a member of JCTA, she enjoyed Taylor Swift, Harry Potter, camping, and boating with her family. Chelsea never meet a stranger, she enjoyed being surrounded by people she enjoyed their company “especially children”. She also loved her 2 fur babies Ellie Marie, and Sadie Anne.
Chelsea was preceded in death by her grandparents, James E. Howell Sr, and Elfrida D. Howell; and her papaw Donald E. Pfraehler.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Brett A. Saltsman, parents, James E. Howell, Jr; and Sherrie (Stiles) Howell; grandfather; Robert Stiles (Janet); grandmother, Barbara Stiles; brother, Alex Howell (Caitlyn); father and mother-in-law, Rick and Joyce Saltsman; sister-in-law, Berkley Saltsman (Julio Collins), mamaw, Peggy Pfraehler; papaw and mamaw, Jack and Jean Saltsman; 5 nieces and nephews, Brady and Rhett Howell, and Emma, Arai, and Everett Collins; special aunt Mary McIntosh; and a host of other cousins, aunts, uncles, family, and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, April 18, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd). Family and friends may pay their respect on Saturday, April 16, 2022, from 12:00pm to 8:00pm and again on Monday from 10:00am until the time of service at 12:00. With burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery.
