Cheryl Ann Grant

Ms. Cheryl Ann Grant, age 74, returned to her Heavenly Father on January 6, 2020.   Ms. Grant was born July 18, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Henry Earl and Elsie McGrew. She formerly attended First Church of God and retired from Twinbrook Nursing Home where she was a bookkeeper. Ms. Grant was a U of K fan and loved going to Gatlinburg. She enjoyed Arby's, Diet Coke and shopping at Kohls and Walmart. Ms. Grant loved movies and enjoyed the Hallmark channel. Ms. Grant loved her family and friends most of all, especially her children and grandchildren. She made daily phone calls to her family and friends and loved her dog, Shadow.   

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donnie McGrew.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Jackie Grant, Deena Estes (Jim) and Scott Grant (Angela); grandchildren, Brandi Estes, Shelby Hughes (Steven), Nik Estes, Abigail Grant and Matthew Grant; sister, Vicki McGrew; several nieces and nephews; her beloved fur-baby, Shadow; and a host of other dear family and friends.

Memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, January 9, 2020 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.). Friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 1:00 pm until time of service at the funeral home.
