Clifford Earl Routon

Mr. Clifford Earl Routon, Sr., age 90, of Highview returned to his Heavenly Father on January 27, 2015. Mr. Routon was an electrician for General Electric and retired after 30 years of service and was a U.S. Navy WWII veteran. Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, Harry and Lillian Routon; wife, Carrie Warren Routon; sisters, Margie and Mary Katherine; and brothers, Harry, Jr., Jimmy and Kenny. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving childen, Sandy Routon-Fisk and loving son-in-law, George, Cliff Routon, Jr., Cathy Routon and Timothy Routon; loving former daughter-in-law, Jeanie Routon; grandchildren, Alissa Ringle and Joshua Routon (Alicia); great-grandchildren, Micah Ringle and Trevor Routon; sister, Faye Arnold (Carroll); and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Monday, February 2, 2015 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road; use John Harper entrance) with interment in Resthaven Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 2-8 pm and Monday from 9am until time of service at Schoppenhorst.
