

Clifton was a man who valued the outdoors and found peace in the rhythms of nature. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he treasured the time spent in the open air, where he could reflect, unwind, and connect with the world around him.
He also had a creative spirit that showed itself in drawing, writing, and music. Clifton expressed himself in ways that were thoughtful and sincere, and those who knew him will remember the unique perspective he brought to the things he loved. Whether he was putting pencil to paper, writing down his thoughts, or listening to music that spoke to his heart, he carried an appreciation for creativity that enriched his life and the lives of others.
Clifton is survived by his wife, Nicole Perkins; father, Louie Eugene Perkins; siblings, Anthony Eugene Perkins (Patty), Christopher Louis Perkins (Tera); children, Mariah Lang (Hunter), Dystini Badgett, Jaylen Moore, Zachary Perkins (Melanie), Drew Perkins, Damion Whitmer, and Dylon Whitmer; grandchildren, Huntlee Ann Lang, Annie Kate Perkins, and baby Lang; also a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Perkins; his sister, Debra Ann Perkins; and his grandparents. Their memories remained close to him throughout his life, and he now joins them in eternal rest.
A visitation will be held at Calvary Hill Separate Baptist Church, 645 Coral Ridge Road Shepherdsville, Kentucky 40165 on Saturday, June 20, 2026 starting at 11AM. A family meal will be served at 2PM. The funeral service will be held at 4PM.
