Curtis R. "Jack" Emmitt

Curtis R. "Jack" Emmitt age 87 of Okolona was born June 10,1927 to the late Asa and Ada Emmitt and returned to his Heavenly Father November 6, 2014. MR. Emmitt was retired mechanic for Smiths Transfer Company, a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He Leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Dorothy Herm Emmitt; son, Al O'Bryant (Mary Ann); grandson, Joe O'Bryant; niece and nephew, Debbie Bain and C.G. Emmitt; great nieces and nephews, Ryan, Jennifer, Kyle, Jessica, Stacey, Kevin, Laura, Carla and Gary; great- great nephews, Lucas and Conner; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held 10 A.M. Tuesday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks, (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects from 1 P.M. until 8 P.M. Monday at Schoppenhorst.
