Danny Carl Ashby, Sr.

Danny Carl Ashby, Sr., age 70, of Fairdale, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, July 25, 2022. He was born in Bardstown, Kentucky on January 11, 1952, to the late Clayton C. Ashby and Dorothy Ashby. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, David Ashby; sister, Peggy Smith; nephew, Chris Ashby. Danny is a veteran of the United States Navy.

Danny leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Nancy Ashby; daughter, Michelle Thomas (Gary); sons, Darrell Goff (Tammy), David Goff (Suzie), Danny C. Ashby, Jr.; 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Judy Ashby, Mary Ashby; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:30pm on Monday, August 1, 2022 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends and Family may pay their respects on Sunday from 11:00am until 8:00pm on Monday from 9:00am until time of service at the funeral home.
