Danny Steven Jessie

Mr. Danny Steven Jessie, age 64, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. Mr. Jessie was born in Louisville, KY on August 20, 1958 to the late Olen Buck Jessie and Matery Jessie and he was Baptist by faith.

In addition to his parents, his brother, Olan Ingram Jessie and Charles Howard Jessie; sisters, Audrey Garrett, Mary Vincent and Mildred Jesse and sister-in-law, Betty Jesse preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his siblings, Jerry Jessie, Billy Jessie, Wendell Jessie (Doris), William Jessie (Lilly), Willie Jesse, Janet Stark and Judy Anthony (Gerald); half-brother, Wayne Shirley and a host of nieces, nephews and other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, August 7, 2023 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Pennsylvania Run Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Sunday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12pm at the funeral home.
