David Wayne Greenwood Jr.

David Wayne Greenwood Jr, 39, of Louisville returned to his Heavenly Father on August 24, 2021. David was born to Marsha Pryor and David Greenwood on April 15, 1982. He was a loving son, brother, and father to two of the most amazing sons. David was a talker and never met a stranger. He befriended everyone he came in contact with. He was a die-hard UofL fan and loved the Baltimore Ravens. But most of ALL he loved his family and friends, especially his children.

Among those that preceded him in death are his grandparents, Malcom and Betty Payton and James and Emily Greenwood; uncle, Frank Greenwood; and his parents, Marsha Pryor, and David Greenwood Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his heart and soul, sons Noah Hough and Joshua Greenwood; sister and brother-in-law, Amy and Tim Thompson; step-grandparent, Marilyn Payton; aunts and uncles, Loretta, Jerry, Steve, Denise, Brad; and many cousins, and other beloved family members and friends.

Memorial service will be held at 5 pm on Sunday, September 12, 2021, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 2 pm until time of service at the funeral home.  www.subfuneralhome.com
