David Alan McKinney

Mr. David Alan McKinney, age 67, of Valley Station returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, October 25, 2019. Mr. McKinney was born in Campbellsville on June 20, 1952 to the late Austin Raymond and Ella (Wilcox) McKinney. He was a member and Sunday School Superintendent at Friendship Separate Baptist Church. Among those that preceded him in death are his parents; brother, Ron McKinney; and sister, Sherry West.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 18 years, LaQuinta “Ann” White-McKinney; children, Karissa Richards (Jason) and Jonathan McKinney (Bev); grandchildren, Athan, Grady, McKenzie and Zane; sister, Kim Burch (George); and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 2 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment to follow at Whickerville Cemetery (Hardyville, KY).  Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 10 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
