Dixie A. Brown

Mrs. Dixie A. (Adams) Brown, age 85, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, January 15, 2021. Mrs. Brown was born in Whitesburg on March 16, 1935 to the late Riley Adams and Margie Day. She was a member of Okolona Baptist  Church. Among those that preceded her in death are her parents; husband, Howard Brown; sister, Canna Webb; brothers, Bill and Jack Adams.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Greg (Debbie) and David (Claire); sister, Judy Gilley (James); brother, Richard Adams (Brenda); grandchildren, Jennifer, David Rian, Chad and Brittney; great-grandchildren, Anna Brooke, Nate, Stephen, Bella and Reese.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Home of the Innocents.

Funeral service will be held at 12 pm on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects Tuesday from 2 pm until 8 pm and from 9 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
