Dolores Price

Dolores was a beloved Christian woman whose life reflected kindness, steadiness, and care for others. She was also a faithful member of Brooks Baptist Church, where her Christian faith remained an important part of her life. Her church community was a source of fellowship and encouragement, and her presence there was a blessing to many.

Dolores devoted more than 30 years of her working life to serving others as a bank teller. Her years of service were a reflection of her strong work ethic and her commitment to helping those around her. Outside of her career, Dolores found happiness in farming and in the beauty of flowers. She appreciated the rhythms of the land and the peace that came from tending to the things she loved.

Dolores is survived by her son, Thomas Price III and his wife, Serena; her grandchildren, Thomas Price IV and his wife, Presley, and Ariel Perkins and her husband, Josh; and her great-grandchildren, Payton, Tucker, Chloe, and Micah. She is also survived by her brothers, Darrell and his wife, Nancy, Dewie and his wife, Margaret, and Randall and his wife, Valerie. Her family was a source of great pride and joy throughout her life, and she cherished each of them deeply.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Price Jr., her parents, Delmar V. McClearn and Hetty McClearn, and by her brother, Lee Owen Gaston. Their memory remained close to her heart, and she carried the love of her family with her throughout her life.

A visitation will be held at Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 S. Buckman Street Shepherdsville, Kentucky 40165 on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 from 4-8pm. Visitation will continue the following morning on Thursday, July 16, 2026 from 9-11am. A funeral service will directly follow. Dolores will be laid to rest alongside her husband in Lebanon Junction Cemetery.
