Donald "Donnie" Ward

Mr. Donald “Donnie” Ward, age 73, of Louisville KY, returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, Mr. Ward was born in Louisville, Ky on July 9, 1948, to the late Theodore Ward and Daisy "Conway" Ward. Mr. Ward worked as a master carpenter, he enjoyed farming, yard selling, loved eagles, enjoyed a good steak, and he was true to his faith in God. But most importantly he loved his family dearly.

Among those who preceded him in death are his parent; his first wife Brenda Ward; his daughter Lisa Hodge; and his brother Eugene Ward.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 29 years Linda Ward; sons, Jason Ward, daughter, Lisa Hollowell (Greg); Roger Cole II (Carrie); son, Matthew Hodge; brothers, Jerry Ward (Sheila), David Ward,(Norma), Steve Ward,(Donna); 1 sister Theresa Luttrell (Johnny); several grandchildren and great- grandchildren; along with a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021, from 10: 00 am until 2:00 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.). Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 24, 2021, in the chapel at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home. With burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery
