Doris Ann Wooten

Mrs. Doris Ann Wooten, age 79 of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 12, 2022. She was born on Friday, November 13, 1942 to the late Edward and Alberta Winter. She was a member of Eastern Gate Baptist Church, Red Hats of Louisville, Louisville Historical League and the Blue Bird Camp. She enjoyed flowers, singing in the church choir, Sunday school, traveling and time with her family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Tommy Wooten; her children, Benny Davis Jr. and Andrew Thomas Wooten; her sister, Linda Marconi (Gary); her grandchildren, Dalton, Wayne and Abbigail; her nephew, Tony Marconi; along with a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be Noon Tuesday, May 17, 2022 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home 4895 N. Preston Highway Shepherdsville with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Visitations will be on Monday 2 pm until 8 pm and on Tuesday 10 am until time of service.
