Douglas Ray Blackburn

Mr. Douglas Ray Blackburn, age 48, of Okolona returned to his Heavenly Father on December 26, 2013. Mr. Blackburn was a former employee with ACL Bargeline and was a Baptist by faith. Among those that preceded him in death include his father, Chester Blackburn; brother, Craig Blackburn; and nephew; Jerry Nash. He leaves to cherish his memory his son, James; mother, Betty Blackburn; sisters, Patricia Ferguson (George Satori) and Deborah McGill (Thomas); nieces, Melody, Mendy, Misty, Tabitha and Chanell; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Monday, December 30, 2013 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 1-8 pm and Monday from 10 am until time of service at Schoppenhorst. Obituary on www.subfuneralhome.com
