Edward Richardson

Eddie was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life and, most of all, in the time he shared with those he loved. He had a special place in this heart for the lake, where he enjoyed fishing, boating, and making memories with his family.

He also loved mushroom hunting and gardening, taking pride in the things he could find, grow, and share with others. However, his greatest joy was being a husband, father, and grandfather. He lovingly taught “his girls” how to drive, giving them not only the skills to navigate the road, but memories they will carry with them for a lifetime.

One of the most treasured memories is riding his loving wife on the waves-a simple moment filled with laughter, adventure, and the love they shared. It was the life he lived: surrounded by family, enjoying the outdoors, and making every moment count.

Eddie will be remembered for his love of the lake, his adventurous spirit, his green thumb, and, most importantly, the love and devotion he gave to his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Phillip Freeman and Jim Terrell.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 47 years, Tywana; a daughter, Katie Price (C.J.); and grandchildren, Emma Price (Levi) and Olivia Price.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Hardy Close Funeral Home, 285 S Buckman Street, Shepherdsville, Kentucky, 40165. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.
