Effie Dean Beasley

Mrs. Effie Dean Beasley, age 98, of Fairdale returned to her Heavenly Father on February 14, 2020. Mrs. Beasley was born on May 4, 1921 in Grayson County, KY to the late Abraham and Hulda Jane (Hayes) Higgs. Mrs. Beasley worked for Jefferson County Public Schools. Among those that preceded her in death are her parents; husband, Fonza Beasley; brothers, Raymond, Delbert and Shelby Higgs; sisters, Pearl Farris and Shirley Embry; and great-granddaughter, Brianna Miller.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Charles Edward Beasley, Betty Jean Miller, Susan Jane Burress (Robert) and Diana Kay Miller; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Thursday, February 20, 2020 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Highland Memory Gardens.
