Eleanora Frances Cole

Mrs. Eleanora Frances (Krebs) Cole, age 84, of Mt. Washington returned to her Heavenly Father on October 2, 2023. Mrs. Cole was born on March 24, 1939, in Louisville, KY to the late George, Sr. and Eleanora (French) Krebs. She was a self-employed dog groomer and was a breeder of championship poodles. She was a former member of the Louisville Kennel Club and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Southern Star Chapter #154. Among those that preceded her in death are her parents, husband, Sandy Bryant Cole, and brother, George Krebs, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Janice Lukenbill (David) and Ken Cole (Joyce); grandchildren, Brigette Jonas and Tracey Hall (Mark); and great-grandchildren, Kagan, Evan, and Nate.

Funeral service will be conducted at 3 pm on Saturday, October 7, 2023, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home-Mt. Washington (Hwy. 44 East at 123 Winning Colors Drive) with cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 12 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
