Franklin "Frank" Gray

   Mr. Franklin “Frank” Gray, age 72 of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, April 30, 2023. He was born on November 13, 1950, to Bobbie and Christine (Marksbury) Gray. Mr. Gray enjoyed fishing and was a member of Messiah Trinity Church in Louisville, devoting much of his time to working with the VBS program, organizing plays and events and maintaining the church grounds. Frank loved to spend time at Nolin Lake fishing, swimming and boating.

    He was preceded in death by his father, Bobbie Gray; his wife, Debbie (Criswell) Gray; brother, Robert “Bob” Gray and sister, Beverly Moore.

   He leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Corey Gray (Monika), Eric Gray (Jennifer) and Jeremy Sachse (Allison); his mother, Christine (Marksbury) Gray; grandchildren, Donald, Stephen, Bobbie, Mika, Taylor, Jessica, Noah, Justice, Jordan, Brooke, Noah S. and Olivia; great-grandchildren, Donald Jr. “DJ”, Oakley and Mylah; his sisters, Phyllis Adkinson and Dee Gray and a host of family and friends.

   Funeral service will be conducted at 6 pm on Thursday, May 4, 2023, in the chapel at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy. in Shepherdsville) with cremation to follow. Friends and family may pay their respects on Thursday, May 4, 2023, from 1 pm until time of service at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home.
