Gary Lee Hewitt

Mr. Gary Lee Hewitt, age 79, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, June 16, 2023. He was born in Pontiac, Michigan on April 16, 1944. Mr. Hewitt served in the United States Army. He worked as a Millwright in the Millwrights Local #1076. Mr. Hewitt is preceded in death by his parents, Kilmer and Emmaleen Pearl Hewitt; and daughter, Pamela Kirby.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 30 years, Patty Hewitt; children, Charlie Robinson (Christy), Holly Robinson, Raymond Hewitt (Tammy), Anthony Hewitt (Jennifer), Scott Hewitt (Alelea) ; grandchildren, Darian, Blade, Hannah and C.J. Robinson; sister, Karen Parker (John);  and a host of dear friends and family.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 10:00am until the time of service at 2:00pm.
