Gary Mason

Mr. Gary Mason, age 61, of Shively, returned to his Heavenly Father on November 29, 2018.  Mr. Mason was born to the late James T. Mason and Barbara Easton in Jefferson County, Kentucky on November 24, 1957. He worked at ISA Recycling company.  

He is preceded in death by his life partner, Theresa Marie Block; brothers, James T. Baxter, Tommy Mason, and Billy Mason; and his sister, Nona Mahoney.

He leaves to cherish his memory his brother, Danny Mason; niece, Janet “Mahoney” McMillin (Kevin); several other nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. The family would like to express a very special thank you to David and Nancy Block for everything they have done for their Uncle Gary. 

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the chapel at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. and Brooks rd.) with burial to follow in Pennsylvania Run Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
